There are many reasons that contribute to why there is baldness in women. Women tend to think that they are prone to the ability of losing their hair. Yet, many women out there have experienced this. So, what could cause this baldness in women?

One of the things that scientists have said testosterone is to blame for hair loss in women. We all know that women contain the hormone estrogen. What they have found though is that the women who have been balding have tested to have high levels of testosterone in their bodies. This can greatly explain why they bald as they have male genetics in them.

Yet another thing that scientists have recently learned can cause the increase in baldness is the fact that many women are diagnosed with a thyroid disease.
